Ecuador's Manatee Amazon Explorer
Manatee Amazon Explorer
Twice a week, the Manatee Explorer cruises the narrow waterways of the Ecuadorian Amazon. This is a thrilling adventure, exploring the tropical rain forest and its native communities along the Napo River. More than 560 species of birds have been recorded in the area and hundreds of botanical wonders. The Manatee sails along different ecosystems and important natural reserves such as the Yasuni National Park and the Limoncocha Biological Reserve.
The uniquely engineered design of the Manatee offers access to many of the smaller trails not accessible to other riverboats. Each cruise is manned by devoted, experienced guides; seasoned and prepared to share their vast knowledge of the tropical rain forest.
