You will be assisted back to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. En-route visit Pisac and start your biking experience to Calca.
Enjoy a half day bike tour where you can see the Andean landscapes, and nature of the surroundings of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. You will bike from the town of Pisac with its impressive landscape to the villages of Taray and Calca. This is a full support guided trip. You will ride on off road circuits admiring agriculture fields, and Andean terraces. Duration is four hours with around two and a half hours of biking. A boxed lunch will be provided.
Enjoy a full day exploration in the Sacred Valley during your ATV adventure on Lake Huaypo, followed by kayak or paddle board experience.
This ATV/Quad Bike tour takes an adventurous route around Lake Huaypo with picturesque snow covered mountains in the distance, and passing through small country towns and farms. The glassy Lake Huaypo is one of the Sacred Valley’s most scenic bodies of water. Time permitting, we pass by Tiobamba Church as well. Return to our operations base.
After, continue your exploration in the Sacred Valley with a kayak or paddle boarding adventure on Lake Huaypo. Enjoy the natural beauty of the lake while you keep your eyes open to spot some of the many types of birds that live in this area. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the lakeshore.
Depart to Pachar, in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Via Ferrata is a new choice for adventure, designed for an adrenaline-charged experience in the middle of amazing views and with all the safety measures needed for those who have no climbing experience. Climb up 984 feet using iron ladders and knowing you are 100% safe and will enjoy the breathtaking view.
Enjoy lunch at Skylodge, one of the world’s best culinary experiences in a transparent capsule located 400 meters above the Sacred Valley!
After lunch, depart via the Sacred Valley zip line. The zip line has 6 lines or cables, from 328 feet to 1,640 feet, for a total of 6,562 feet.
Early this morning, you will be transferred to the train station for your trip to KM 104, where you will begin your full day Incan trail hike to Machu Picchu.
After crossing the suspension bridge over the Urubamba River we visit the archaeological site of Chachabamba (7,052 ft). From here, we will hike uphill for about 8km (approximately four hours) and get to the magnificent archaeological site of Wiñayhuayna (8,858 ft.), an impressive complex made up of an agricultural center with numerous terraces and religious and urban sectors.
On the way we will appreciate the vegetation of the forest. After having a boxed lunch we will continue for about one hour further onto ‘Inti Punku’ (The ‘Sun Gate) (8,792ft), from where you will have your first dramatic and impressive view of Machu Picchu 7,972ft. As we are going down, we will take a side path off the trail to take a bus that transports us to Aguas Calientes where you will check into your accommodation.
Machu Picchu, the “Lost City of the Incas,” is the holy grail for lovers of Incan monuments, and the most famous archaeological site in all of South America.
On this visit, you will fully embrace this magnificent wonder of the world, letting this once-in-a-lifetime experience set in. Huayna Picchu is one of the highlights of a visit to Machu Picchu. The views of the Citadel and surrounding landscape are extraordinary from the top and well worth the climbing effort. From the summit, the scale and ingenuity of Machu Picchu and its various structures and terraces is fully revealed.
After lunch, you will be escorted back to the Aguas Calientes train station for your return train journey to Ollantaytambo aboard the PeruRail Vistadome train. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Cusco.
Today, depart on a full day Rafting Urubamba River adventure south of Cusco (class II, III, III+ depending on the season and section).
Enjoy a scenic drive from Cusco to the rafting site – complete with views of lakes, villages and local communities on the way to Urcos and Cusipata.
The rafting section is called Chuquicahuana and is the best part of the Urubamba River it is located two hours south of Cusco.
The section is classified as class II, III and III+ with continuous rapids. After ending the rafting, lunch will be served on the banks of the river. We then drive back to Cusco.
Morning guided walking tour of Historical Cusco and a hike to Sacsayhuaman Fortress.
Our visit will consist on a journey through centuries to know the history of Cusco, the capital of the Incas, considered the “navel of the world.” Including a hike towards the Llaullipata forrest, entrance to Sacsayhuaman, one of the most emblematic structures the Incans built by Pachacutec in the 15th century.
Sacsayhuamán, a UNESCO World Heritage site, offers a wonderful view over Cusco
Learn about the site’s history and defensive purpose. Marvel at the way the Incans built the site so soundly, and admire the different shapes and sizes of the stones, some of which have designs of the condor, puma and snake, symbols of the three Inca worlds. Vehicle transfer back to Cusco.
You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Lima. Upon arrival, you will connect with your departure flight from Peru.
