Discover the vibrant food scene in Lima with a chef guided local market visit followed by a private culinary experience in his/her home.
Discover your chef talents in a Peruvian family atmosphere. During this cooking workshop, you’ll taste up to 10 flavors including a starter and a dish that you’ll have prepared yourself that follow the recipes and tricks of your experienced local chef.
The experience includes a visit to a local market where you will procure the ingredients necessary for the preparation of the dishes at the chef’s favorite stands before you start cooking! When the food is ready to be served, sit down for the delicious fare and conversation in the warm, relaxed ambiance of the chef’s home.
Fly to Cusco and proceed to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Hike the Pisac Ruins and visit the Pisac Indian Market.
The Pisac ruins is one of the most important and well-preserved sites in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Climb to the top to take in the spectacular views of the terraced countryside. After, head down to explore the quaint village of Pisac and its artisan Indian market, where you will find extraordinarily local goods, including fine jewelry, ceramics, and textile craftwork. Some of the most important ceramic pieces you will find are the ceremonial goblets called “Q’eros,” plates, necklaces, and replicas of pre-Hispanic pottery.
Experience an awakening shaman spiritual ceremony and an exploration of the colonial town of Maras and the Incan terraces of Moray.
Arrive at the shores of Lake Huaypo, where a shaman will be waiting to start your blessing of the union ceremony, which also includes a payment to the earth ceremony honoring Mother Earth goddess Pachamama.
Venture to the fascinating and beautiful sites of Maras and Moray. The circular terraces of Moray are referred to as a greenhouse of the Incas by the local people, and historians believe the site was used as an agricultural research center. In Maras, explore the town and learn how to prepare the traditional fermented drink called chicha. Enjoy the view at the salt fields of Maras, which are often an astounding sight during the dry season. A culinary immersion awaits at MIL CENTRO before returning to the hotel.
Explore the fortress town of Ollantaytambo before traveling to Machu Picchu aboard the Inca Rail 360°.
Ollantaytambo is where you will find the best surviving example of Incan town planning. Many of the building foundations in old town Ollantaytambo were built by the Inca, and most of the Inca canchas, or blocks, are still intact. The Fortress was first a place of worship, as well as a location for studying astronomy. It was here that Manco Incans defeated the Spanish in 1538 before fleeing to the mountains of Vilcabamba.
The 16 massive terraces spread before you are a testimony to the magnificent Inca masonry. Climb the steep stone steps up to the imposing fortress at the top of the mountain – around 260 steps! From there, the view down the valley is superb and you can admire the huge monoliths that form the Temple of the Sun.
Enjoy included immersive experiences at your hotel and surrounding cloud forest that is home to 372 native orchid species, more than 200 kinds of birds, and 111 species of butterfly.
Walk in the footsteps of the Incas during a visit to Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu hike.
Begin with an exhilarating hike up Huayna Picchu, which has an ascent of just over 1,000 feet. Once at the top, the views of the Citadel and surrounding landscape are extraordinary and well worth the climbing effort. From the Huayna Picchu summit, the scale and ingenuity of Machu Picchu and its various structures and terraces is fully revealed.
Explore Machu Picchu, the “Lost City of the Incas” known as the holy grail for lovers of Incan monuments, and the most famous archaeological site in all South America. You will be amazed and feel inspired as you walk around the citadel’s agricultural terraces, royal houses, and temples. Enjoy a second entrance to the citadel, giving you additional time to explore on your own.

Inside Cusco’s historical center, be amazed by the historical sites and structures, including Koricancha, also known as the “Temple of the Sun, and the Convent of Santo Domingo, who’s stones were once covered with gold! The main square is where you will find the beautiful Plaza de Armas and Cusco Cathedral.
Sacsayhuamán is perched on a hill on the northern outskirts of Cusco. In addition to a wonderful view over Cusco, UNESCO World Heritage-listed Sacsayhuamán boasts massive stones – measuring up to 13 feet tall – placed tightly together, creating a fortress-like structure. Enjoy a gourmet picnic with champagne overlooking the fortress.
Your days are at leisure. On one of the nights, celebrate your journey with a toast at your included romantic private dinner on the beach.
Mancora is a somewhat laid back, this ramshackle fishing town offers beach relaxation, an array of outdoor activities such as boat excursions, nature trips, horseback riding, and all manner of other water sports, especially surfing.
Today, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Lima. Upon arrival, you will connect with your departure flight from Peru.
