Visit Recoleta Cemetery and hear fascinating tales about Evita Perón, the misfortune of Rufina Cambaceres, Tiburcia Dominquez’s miserly husband, and Admiral Brown. Stop by Pilar Basilica to admire its stunning architecture, then learn about the history of Recoleta Cemetery at the Recoleta Cultural Center and Old Monastery.

See El Ateneo which is as splendid as its name and exudes Buenos Aires’s nostalgic elegance. View Bourdelle’s Monument to Alvear, then continue to the Palais de Glace, where the Argentine tango came of age. Experience a mesmerizing day in Buenos Aires, “The Paris of South America”

The city combines the atmosphere of an old European town with the features of a Latin American capitol. Acquire a deep understanding of its characteristics, its history, its architecture, its culture, and its best stories. See the Metropolitan Cathedral, Palace of Congress, Plaza de Mayo, and Casa Rosada (Pink House). It was from the balcony here that Eva Perón famously addressed the throngs of impassioned supporters packed into the plaza.

Enjoy the magical atmosphere of the traditional neighborhood San Telmo and its cobbled streets. La Boca, the first Buenos Aires port and now a neighborhood with a unique beat, colorful, and overlaid façades, and the artsy Caminito. This street is among the most famous in the country. Visit Teatro Colón, one of the most important opera houses in the world, due to its acoustic excellence and beautiful architecture. Here you will enjoy an inside guided visit.

Take part in an authentic tradition. The event takes place at El Querandí, a historic tango venue located in the San Telmo district, where you will get lost in the passion of the national dance, the Tango.

Immerse yourself in the Gaucho culture traveling to the Argentine Pampas

San Antonio de Areco, one of the oldest towns in Argentina, invites you to return to the 18th century with its narrow colonial streets, church, bars, and museums. Explore the soul and character of the gaucho at the Ricardo Guiraldes Gaucho Museum. Admire the master silversmiths at work in their workshop and marvel at the skill of the leather craftsmen.

La Bamba de Areco estancia, whose origins date back to 1830 when it formed one of the post houses on the “Camino Real” (Royal Road) that linked Buenos Aires to the north of the country, is one of the oldest Argentinian colonial-style estancias. Here one can enjoy activities including horseback riding, horse carriage rides, biking, and Argentinian bowls game. In addition, an active part of Argentine and especially gaucho heritage, the estancia is proud to offer authentic gaucho traditions such as a typical Asado (country barbecue).

Fly to Iguazu Falls, proceed to the national park for an exploration of the Argentine Falls

The Lower Circuit (5,577 feet) descends to the river via many staircases and passes lower and closer to more falls: San Martin, Bossetti, and Saltos Dos Hermanas. The lush vegetation, the sounds and smells of the jungle, the multicolored birds and butterflies give a taste of this extraordinary natural monument.

Devil’s Throat, where another footbridge (0.62 miles) leads to the highlight of the show: The Devil’s Throat. A breathtaking horseshoe-shaped gorge, which is 262 feet high and 492 feet wide, and falls into the river with a deafening roar. Sun and water vapor often create rainbows over the falls, crowning this beautiful landscape.

The walkways on this side of the national park are short but impactful, giving the sensation that one is walking on the edge of the waterfalls themselves, looking over the railings into the flowing depths. Feel the raw and natural power while standing on the platforms and take in the beautiful surroundings.

Next is the Macuco Boat Safari experience. Board open jeep-towed wagons that allow for an unobstructed view of the scenery along the trail surrounded by beautiful flora and fauna. Orchids, palm trees, Bromeliads, centenarian trees, and even wild animals that occasionally cross the trail can be spotted. An exhilarating motorboat awaits to take you upriver passing the canyon facing the rapids at a speed that allows for scenic viewing.
