Enjoy a half day tour around the city and get an overview of all this vibrant Brazilian city has to offer. Considered Brazil’s ‘late bloomer’, what São Paulo lacks in colonial history, it more than makes up for with its modern architecture and emerging art and foodie scene. You will make stops at Pacaembu Stadium, Sé Cathedral, Central Square, Teatro Municipal De Sao Paulo, Estacao da Luz Train station, and Municipal Market of Sao Paulo, where you can see firsthand how the locals live. The tour will allow you to discover the intriguing history and heritage of this beautiful city.
The Brazilian Pantanal is one of the world’s largest freshwater flood plains. Its river and lagoons are the home of countless animal species. Among these species, we find caimans, jaguars, capybaras, marsh deer, giant anteaters, tapirs, hyacinth macaws and many others thrive in this rich ecosystem of high lands, fields and flood plain. UNESCO appointed the Pantanal as a member of the World Heritage and Biosphere Reserve, the true wildlife sanctuary of South America. Located the center of the continent, with an area of approximately 150.000 km², Pantanal consists of a transition area, containing elements of Cerrado, the Amazon and Atlantic forests, of Paraguayan Chaco and Caatinga. Such fantastic biodiversity includes approximately 698 species of birds, 80 species of mammals, 26 of fish and 50 of reptiles.
The ecological refuge provides unique experiences in the Southern Pantanal. Caiman offers complete immersion in one of the most biologically diverse parts of South America. Your adventure program includes scheduled excursions, which consist of off-road safaris, nocturnal Jaguar spotting, pantaneiro tour, canoe rides, ecological walks, and other fun activities.
Iguazu Falls are often heralded as the most beautiful falls in the world. The unbelievable and spectacular falls are a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. Upon seeing Iguazu for the first time, first Lady Eleanor Roosevelt reportedly exclaimed “Poor Niagara!” Vastly larger than North America’s Niagara Falls, the Iguazu Falls are made up of 275 separate cataracts that stretch for 2.5 miles, plunging 269 feet into the Iguassu River.
Awasi brings you the Iguazú Falls as you have never experienced them. Located just 15 minutes from the world’s largest waterfalls, Situated on the banks of the River Iguazú, each villa will be assigned with a private guide and 4WD, allowing guests to explore at their own pace, visiting where they want, when they want, and for however long they want.
Choose between private full-day excursions or two half-day excursions that best suit your interests. Excursions include: visits to the Argentine and Brazilian side of the falls, explorations to the Atlantic rainforest, Guarani tribal village, Bird Park, and excursion to see the 18th century Jesuit ruins.
