Explore Recoleta on foot and go off the beaten path. You will be introduced to the history, architecture, traditions, and unique features of this historic Buenos Aires neighborhood. Visit Recoleta Cemetery and hear fascinating tales about Evita Perón, the misfortune of Rufina Cambaceres, Tiburcia Dominquez’s miserly husband, and Admiral Brown. Stop by Pilar Basilica to admire its stunning architecture, then learn about the history of Recoleta Cemetery itself at the Recoleta Cultural Center and Old Monastery.
Visit El Ateneo which is as splendid as its name and exudes Buenos Aires’s nostalgic elegance. See Bourdelle’s Monument to Alvear, then continue to the Palais de Glace, where the Argentine tango came of age. Learn about the history of tango before visiting the BA Design Center and Terraces, the National Library, and the National Fine Arts Museum.
The city combines the atmosphere of an old European town with the features of a Latin American capitol. Acquire a deep understanding of its characteristics, its history, its architecture, its culture, and its best stories. See the Metropolitan Cathedral, Palace of Congress, Plaza de Mayo, and Casa Rosada (Pink House). It was from the balcony here that Eva Perón famously addressed the throngs of impassioned supporters packed into the plaza.

Welcome to El Calafate!
Settle into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.
Soak in the natural beauty of the region as you sail through the Argentino Lake, surrounded by the most amazing light blue colored icebergs. Located on the Northwest coast of the Argentino Lake, Estancia Cristina is surrounded by Los Glaciares National Park. Enjoy a guided walk up to Caterina River, then the chapel and the historical old house of the estancia. Take a 4×4 vehicle to start your trip to admire Upsala Glacier.
The Upsala Glacier, located a few miles from the estancia, is the second largest glacier within the national park. Once you reach the Upsala viewpoint, you will have the most stunning views of the Oriental Front of the glacier, William Lake, the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, and Andes Mountain Range.
It is said that a visit to the Los Glaciares National Park is a “must” in a lifetime. There is no doubt that the Perito Moreno Glacier is the most beautiful of Los Glaciares National Park. It originates at the Continental Ice Field and descends through colossal mountains, to penetrate the waters of the Argentino Lake. This unique landscape is framed by the greenest of forests and the most colorful flowers.
Embark on a 20 minute navigation across the Rico Arm, enjoying breathtaking views of Perito Moreno Glacier’s front wall. Once on the ice, enjoy the two-hour circuit that introduces you to the fascinating landscape of the glaciers, streams, small lagoons, gullies, crevasses, and ice formations of the most incredible blues.
After lunch, continue to the glacier’s footbridges (viewpoints). From this point, you will clearly see ice blocks of different sizes continually detaching from the glacier and falling into the water, causing a tremendous sound, and amazing waves which makes this view an unforgettable sight.
Arrive in Bariloche, head to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure in the beautiful lake region.
Head to Lopez Bay where your kayak awaits to begin your adventure. As you paddle, enjoy the vistas of Lake Nahuel Huapi and the Andes mountains. Discover the coastlines and hidden bays that can only be accessed on water. In one of the hidden bays, enjoy an outdoor picnic before continuing to the starting point of your hike.
Enjoy a hike on the Tristeza Branch lookout trail. As you trek from one viewpoint to another, be amazed by the panoramic views that showcase Lake Nahuel Huapi, its islands, neighboring hills, and the magnificent Mount Tronador, with its glaciers and the endless snow of the Andes.
Explore the lake region on your own or relax and take in the natural beauty of the area.
Iguazú Falls are often heralded as the most beautiful falls in the world. The unbelievable and spectacular falls are a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. Upon seeing Iguazú for the first time, first Lady Eleanor Roosevelt reportedly exclaimed “Poor Niagara!” Vastly larger than North America’s Niagara Falls, the Iguazú Falls are made up of 275 separate cataracts that stretch for 2.5 miles, plunging 269 feet into the Iguazú River.
